Uber has enhanced its app with new features specifically designed for Election Day. A prominent ‘Go Vote!’ tile will be displayed on the home screen of the Uber app. When users tap this tile, they will find several helpful options:

  • Locate Your Polling Place: Users can enter their home address to find their nearest polling station. The app then allows them to book a ride directly to the polling place.
  • Discounted Rides: Riders in the U.S. will receive 50% off rides to their polling places, with savings of up to $10.
  • Election Night Promotions: As the results start coming in, users can avail themselves of 25% off Uber Eats orders after 6 p.m., with a maximum discount of $15 on orders that meet a minimum of $25.

Additionally, to celebrate and encourage voting, UberX cars will feature an American flag wrap, serving both as a reminder and a celebration of civic duty.

Lyft’s Commitment Through Voting Access Program

Similarly, Lyft is offering a 50% discount, up to $10 off, on rideshares, bikes, and scooters to the polls. This initiative is part of Lyft’s broader LyftUp Voting Access Program, which was initiated over a decade ago. Lyft’s Chief Policy Officer, Jerry Golden, stated that the program aims to ensure transportation isn’t a barrier to voting. Since its inception in 2014, Lyft has helped approximately three million voters reach polling places.

Johnny Rockets: Visitors can enjoy a free milkshake with any in-store purchase on November 5 at participating locations.



Dave & Buster’s: Election Day at Dave & Buster’s will feature half-priced games, $5 beers, and $5 late-night bites. The Eat, Drink, Play Combo Meal, which includes a $10 power card, an entree of choice, and a fountain drink, will be available for just $19.99.

Fazoli’s: This Italian-American fast-casual chain is offering $2 off any signature bake, like chicken Parmigiano or spicy baked ziti, only in-store.

Lazy Dog Restaurants: These restaurants will offer guests with an “I Voted” sticker a free handcrafted non-alcoholic beverage with any entree purchase.

Round Table Pizza: Voters can take $6 off a large or extra-large pizza at participating locations, available for dine-in, carry-out, and delivery.

Yogurtland: To celebrate civic engagement, Yogurtland is offering 15% off to customers who show their “I Voted” sticker on Election Day.
