As for breakouts, that is more likely caused by not properly cleansing your face after being in the sun. So if you’re concerned about your skin health, wear sunscreen daily, no matter the weather.


Lung cancer, emphysema, and other smoking-related illnesses are known to cause premature death. However, smoking can still affect your appearance even if you don’t develop one of these severe diseases. Studies have shown that smokers are more likely to develop wrinkles and gray hair than nonsmokers.

They are also more likely to lose bone density and muscle mass as they age. In addition, smokers are more likely to develop yellow teeth and bad breath. Not Drinking Enough Water

While staying hydrated for overall health is important, many people do not realize that water is also essential for healthy skin. The skin consists of cells, and cells are made up of water. Water helps to keep your skin cells hydrated and looking plump, which can help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.  In addition, water helps to flush out toxins that can damage skin cells and lead to premature aging. However, if you don’t drink enough water, your body will start to ration it out, prioritizing other functions over hydration.
